The construction project ZUHAUSE IM ANTONIUSQUARTIER is being realised by D&S DIRINGER & SCHEIDEL Wohnbau GmbH in four construction phases.
A total of eight four-storey residential buildings with 81 classic condominiums and 42 publicly subsidised rental flats are being built. The development reflects a diverse, village-like neighbourhood structure. The conical shapes allow for a diverse mix of flats of different sizes and floor plans within one building. Different types of flats are grouped around the centre of the neighbourhood in form-rich point buildings.
Construction phase 1: Westende 39, 97 and 101
In construction phase 1, DIRINGER & SCHEIDEL is building the first three residential buildings with 39 classic condominiums, divided into 1 to 4 room flats with living spaces from 35 m² to 139 m². A smaller point house (house 101) stands between two larger buildings (houses 39 and 97). The top floor of the buildings is planned as a stacked storey with generous open spaces.
Each flat has a balcony or terrace. The deliberate building rotations allow at least one distant view from each open-air seat or balcony. Two flats in each of the three buildings are planned to be barrier-free (according to § 35 LBO) and usable for wheelchair users.
With the aim of developing an attractive residential area worth living in, the municipality of Plankstadt designated the new development area Antoniusquartier on the western edge of the town and developed the area for residential development from 2018. On the approximately three-hectare site between Antoniusweg and Brühler Weg, sought-after living space is being created for a total of 37 single-family houses, terraced houses and semi-detached houses as well as for approximately 120 owner-occupied and rented flats.
The traffic-calmed neighbourhood can be reached by car via the entrance at Westende in the north, all other entrances are service roads or cycle paths. An attractively designed, central neighbourhood square serves as a place for meeting and communication in the already popular residential area.
The Humboldt primary school in Antoniusweg and the neighbouring Postillion e. V. day-care centre are within walking distance. The already completed playground in Antoniusquartier with water play facilities is the highlight for the smaller residents; a recreational facility for the older ones with a football, dirt and skate park is only a few minutes' walk away. A community bus stop is located in Antoniusweg. Electric car owners can charge their vehicles at a charging station directly in the neighbourhood.
