Bachelor of Arts BWL – Industry (m/f/d)

  • Recognised dual study programme
  • Duration: 3 years
  • Takes place in the company and at DHBW Mannheim on a three-month rotation basis


What tasks await me in this profession?

  • Marketing: Development, planning and implementation of marketing activities as well as events (incl. follow-up), design of advertising material
  • Procurement: Preparation of price enquiries, price comparison lists and their evaluation, then placing of orders
  • Distribution: Collection of data on the current situation in the real estate market, customer service, handling of purchase contracts incl. support at the notary's appointment, support for information/sales events
  • Human Resources: Application of methods and instruments for personnel recruitment and selection, planning of personnel deployment and processing of personnel administration tasks, personnel development
  • Financial accounting: Processing incoming and outgoing invoices, checking cash books
  • Cost accounting: Evaluation of key figures and statistics for success control and control of operational processes


Where do I spend my working day?

The departments listed above are located in our headquarters in Mannheim-Neckarau. In periods of several weeks in the relevant departments you will learn the various tasks and requirements, you will be involved in the daily work process. Depending on the requirements and your area of responsibility, you will also take part in external appointments.

  • WEG management: Establishing and managing residential property and part ownership
  • Project development: Preparation of company and customer-related financing concepts, development of real estate-related services, support of project managers in new construction projects
  • Facility management: Organising and controlling the technical building management
  • Distribution: Collection of data on the current situation in the real estate market, customer service, handling of purchase contracts incl. support at the notary's appointment, support for information/sales events
  • Financial accounting: Processing incoming and outgoing invoices, checking cash books


Where do I spend my working day?

The departments listed above are located in our headquarters in Mannheim-Neckarau. In periods of several weeks in the relevant departments you will learn the various tasks and requirements, you will be involved in the daily work process. Depending on the requirements and your area of responsibility, you will also take part in external appointments.

Bachelor of engineering Civil Engineering – Project Management Building Construction (m/f/d)

  • Recognised dual study programme
  • Duration: 3 years
  • Takes place in the company and at DHBW Mosbach alternately
  • Consolidation in the focal points of building construction (classic house construction and civil engineering)) from the 3rd academic year onwards


What tasks await me in this profession?

  • Creating calculations
  • Determination of masses and tender procedure in turnkey construction and shell construction
  • Introduction to construction site equipment and logistics
  • Preparation of quotations with service specifications
  • Evaluation of tenders
  • Support of site management with all associated tasks, e.g. consulting, project support, meetings and communication with partners, contractors, site personnel, etc.


Where do I spend my working day?

You mainly work on large construction sites and spend your working day on site. You will learn commercial understanding, the planning of drafts and their implementation in the corresponding departments in the office.

Bachelor of engineering Civil Engineering – Project Management Underground Construction (m/f/d)

  • Recognised dual study programme
  • Duration: 3 years
  • Takes place in the company and at DHBW Mosbach alternately
  • Consolidation in the main areas of civil engineering (geotechnics, hydraulic engineering and road construction as well as the associated mechanical engineering) from the 3rd academic year onwards


What tasks await me in this profession?

You work alternately on several construction sites and at the company headquarters of the construction company. You will learn commercial understanding, the planning of drafts and their implementation in the corresponding departments in the office.

Bachelor of Science – Computer Science, Applied Computer Science (m/f/d)

  • Recognised dual study programme
  • Duration: 3 years
  • Requires completed school education: good general higher education entrance qualification or technical college entrance qualification
  • Occurs in the company and at the DHBW Mannheim alternately individual specialisations and focal points can be realised in student research projects and student projects


What tasks await me in this profession?

  • The practical phases take place at our head office in Mannheim-Neckarau and at customers in the region. 

  • In stays of several weeks in different departments you will learn the different tasks and requirements, development and implementation of software solutions in different programming languages (e.g. VB.Net, C#, Java, etc.) using the latest technologies, application of agile procedures in development (e.g. Scrum or Kanban), self-responsible cooperation in IT projects for the digitization of processes,
    The company provides and implements test concepts within the scope of process automation, independent analysis and consulting for technical complications, as well as troubleshooting and documentation.

  • Individual specializations and focal points can be realized in student research projects and student projects.


What tasks await me in this profession?

  • The practical phases take place at our headquarters in Mannheim-Neckarau and at customers in the region.
  • In stays of several weeks in different departments you will learn the different tasks and requirements, application of agile approaches in development (e.g. Scrum or Kanban), independent collaboration in IT projects for the digitalization of processes, creation and realization of test concepts in the context of process automation, independent analysis and consulting in case of technical complications as well as troubleshooting and documentation
  • You will be involved in the daily work process and complete smaller projects
  • Software Engineering: Development and implementation of software solutions in various programming languages (e.g. VB.Net, C#, Java etc.) using the latest technologies
  • Application Management: Accounting and financing as well as database modeling. Methods of business informatics, e.g. system analysis, project or business process management
