The new care facility Pflege AUF DER ALB is being built in a central location in Böhmenkirch in the Swabian Alb. The inpatient facility offers people in need of care a comfortable home with a total of 79 care apartments.

In six residential groups, 85 care places are being created in the area of inpatient care. There are 79 barrier-free nursing apartments on three floors, some of which are wheelchair-accessible: 73 single rooms with a total living space (including special and common property) of between approx. 55 m² and 62 m² and six so-called "doubles", two identically sized nursing apartments with a shared bathroom and anteroom, with a total living space (including special and common property) of approx. 118 m². The room sizes themselves are a generous 21 m² to 24 m² for the single rooms and approx. 46 m² for the doubles.


Well thought-out planning and homely furnishings

Residents have the option of furnishing the apartments individually and to their own taste with their own personal furniture. In addition to high-quality furniture and a nurse call system, the furnishings also include curtains and wall painting in warm colors as well as telephone, LAN and TV connections. In order to create space for community, 15 nursing apartments are combined into a residential group.

The new care facility Pflege AUF DER ALB offers care recipients of all care levels attractive communal areas and outdoor spaces. The special structure of the home allows people in need of care to participate in communal life even if they are severely dependent on care.
